About DuPage County ARES, Inc.

DuPage County ARES, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to support the mission and operations of DuPage County ARES. While DuPage County ARES focuses on volunteer emergency communications, training, and public service activities, DuPage County ARES, Inc. provides the organizational and financial support necessary to sustain those efforts.

DuPage County ARES, Inc. owns and maintains equipment used in support of ARES operations, accepts charitable donations, manages organizational assets, and oversees administrative responsibilities. The corporation conducts four regular Board of Directors meetings each year to address legal, financial, governance, and personnel matters.

In addition, DuPage County ARES, Inc. is responsible for funding and paying approved operational expenses, helping ensure that DuPage County ARES volunteers have the resources needed to support emergency communications, training programs, community outreach, and public service activities throughout DuPage County.

Voting Rights Members of DuPage County ARES, Inc. pay annual membership dues that help support the organization's operating expenses, equipment purchases, training initiatives, and other programs that benefit the organization and its members. Voting Rights Members also have the opportunity to participate in the governance of the corporation by voting on matters brought before the membership in accordance with the organization's bylaws.

Through responsible stewardship, sound governance, and financial oversight, DuPage County ARES, Inc. works to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of amateur radio emergency communications in DuPage County.
