Darien Dash

Sunday, May 19, 2019 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM NOON

WHERE: Darien Community Park

This is an annual opportunity for our team to assist the Darien Chamber of Commerce and Police Department by providing auxiliary communications for the Darien Dash. Our primary role is to provide safety surveillance on the 5K/10K race course for participants and to report any health and safety related issues. Like last year the race will take place on the streets of Darien's Hinsbrook sub-division with the start and finish line at the Darien Community Park.  The course will be exactly the same as the 2018 course.  Don Damon, KC9ITI, will be the Incident Commander. Amateur radio operators who can participate are asked to e-mail him at
